Card Payment Terms
Updated October 26, 2026
Your Stripe account
Card payments run through a Stripe account that belongs to your business. Your customer pays your business directly; the money goes to your Stripe balance and out to your bank on Stripe’s schedule. Crewbird never holds the funds.
By connecting Stripe, you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement (stripe.com/connect-account/legal), which includes the Stripe Services Agreement. Stripe may ask you for details to verify your business.
Fees
Crewbird takes no fee on card payments. Stripe charges your business its own processing fees under your agreement with Stripe.
Refunds and disputes
You handle refunds and disputes in your Stripe dashboard. A refund made in Stripe shows on the invoice in Crewbird, and the balance reopens. Payments made by card online can’t be deleted in Crewbird, so your records stay complete.
Card details
Customers enter card details on Stripe’s own checkout page. Crewbird never sees or stores full card numbers. We keep the payment amount, date and Stripe’s reference for your records and receipts.
Your responsibilities
You’re the seller: you set prices, describe what you’re charging for, handle taxes that apply to your sales, and answer your customers’ questions about their charges.
