Who this covers
Owners and staff who use Crewbird Pro, customers who use Crewbird Pass or open an invoice link, and anyone who visits this site. Thora Cloud LLC operates Crewbird.
What we collect
Only what running the service needs:
- Account details: name, email, and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself).
- Business records your team enters: customers and their contact details and addresses, jobs, visits, notes, checklists, tasks, shifts, hours, quotes, invoices, payments, expenses and uploaded files.
- Crewbird Pass details a customer saves: name, phone and address, and which businesses they connect.
- Technical logs needed to run and secure the service, such as request times and errors.
What we use it for
To run Crewbird for your business: show your team its work, keep time records, send the emails you ask us to send (invites, sign-in codes, invoices and receipts), store your files, answer Copilot questions you ask, and keep accounts secure. Nothing else.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or share personal information for advertising, show ads, or use tracking or analytics cookies. We don’t use your business records to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
A few providers run parts of the service for us and may process data only to do that. They’re listed on the Subprocessors page: Convex (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting, file storage, email and bot checks), Stripe (card payments, for businesses that connect it) and Anthropic (Copilot answers).
Who can see it
People in your business, according to the role the owner gives them. Crew see their own work and hours; owners and the office see the whole business. A Crewbird Pass customer sees only their own records at the businesses they connect. Our staff look at your data only to support you or keep the service secure.
Businesses and their customers
For the records a business keeps about its customers and staff, that business decides what’s collected and why, and we process it on its behalf. If you’re a customer of a business that uses Crewbird, contact that business about your records, or us if you use Crewbird Pass.
How long we keep it
As long as the business account is open. When a business or account is deleted, we delete its records, apart from what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information, wherever you live. Owners can export everything in their business themselves (Settings, Organization, Export data). For anything else, write to hello@thora.cloud; we answer within 30 days.
Children
Crewbird is for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll tell owners before it takes effect.
